Do you think that birds tell each other in the spring :" lets meet at Farmington bay first of September" ? After few sighting of birds suddenly there are hundreds starting to gather on the lake. The pelicans are the white birds in this picture but the dark ones are too far away to tell. Canada geese are starting to form into flocks and fly in straight lines or 'v's. I love to watch it all happen.

It is amazing how birds are so in tune. It would take us 20 phone calls and a few emails to plan something that cordinated.
