The Eagles return every year in February to Farmington bay. They seem to gather on the edge of the ice and in this tree. The locals all call it the Eagle Tree. I have taken pictures with as many as 26 all gathered on the old branches. They mainly live on fish and sometimes small creatures. Eagles do not get the white head until they are over four years old.
