California Quail

This cute little California Quail came to visit a few days ago. I love to watch them run around the yard with their fat, round bodies wobbling and feet going a thousand miles an hour. This is a male because of the black face. All quails have the exotic hat. They could go to a royal wedding or the Kentucky Derby.
